This video shoot is taken with the standard 6 1/2 string banjo tuning but the 6 string is dropped down to an open D and the 5th string is dropped down to an open G. Now we have an open G tuning with this extra ½ string. Slide options are awesome along with blues style finger-picking the results are quite unique.
